We had a great Halloween this year, mainly because Gracie was SO into it! She was excited to dress up as a scary skeleton and literally RAN from house to house tick-or-treating! Janie chose to be cat, of course, and loved dressing up, but didn't last quite as long in the freezing rain outside. After about an hour she just stopped on the sidewalk and said, "I'm done now." Poor thing. It was frigid!
My Dad was awesome enough to stay home and hand out candy while we took the girls around the neighborhood. He was dressed in his usual evening attire - his regular clothes with a black robe thrown over the top. One of the dads that came trick-or-treating with his kids said, "Oh! I get it! You're Hugh Hefner!! Cool!" Dad was kind of embarassed, but it was pretty funny!

Gracie the spooky skeleton! Ahhhh!The girls have already started talking about what they want to be next year and they've both decided to be vampires for some reason. Who knows whether or not that will stick!
