The Daily Grind

It has been way too long since I updated my blog. So, even though I have nothing to blog about, I'm going to do it anyway!

We went to the aquarium last week and the girls had a blast! Admittedly, I love the aquarium too because we get to pet the stingrays, which I think is awesome. When we took our trip down to San Diego last year, my favorite things at Sea World were the stingrays and the dolphins. Utah's a bit thin on dolphins, so we get our saltwater fix petting stingrays :) I love how silky smooth they are and how different they look. Heavenly Father's creativity never ceases to amaze me. They are beautiful. As are the little troublemakers featured in the photos below...

Janie is sleeping in her big girl bed for the first time tonight!!! She shredded, I repeat SHREDDED her crib sheet (whith her teeth?? who knows!) while she was supposed to be napping this afternoon. I totally forgot about changing the sheet until it was bedtime for her. Well, by the time bedtime rolls around I am NOT in the mood to change a crib sheet. That is one chore that I am GLAD to get rid of. Changing crib sheets/bumpers leaves me sweaty and cursing. Anyway, instead of going to the trouble to remove the bumper, change the sheet, reattach the bumper and THEN put her to bed, I made an executive decision. Auntie April got her princess sheets for Christmas, which were luckily already on the bed. She was stoked to sleep in a pink princess bed!! She's been asleep for about two hours and hasn't gotten out of bed yet, so I think it's a score!! Woo hoo!! So exciting for little Janie!! Tomorrow we can take down the crib!!
